Argentina’s Youngest Athlete Qualifies for Paris 2024 Olympics

With one month to go before the start of the 2024 Olympic Games, Argentina has a new athlete qualified, bringing its total to 133. This is Ulises Saravia, an 18-year-old swimmer who won the silver medal in Santiago 2023 and qualified for the Olympic Games in Paris after having obtained the B mark in the 100-meter backstroke.

So far, the Mar del Plata native is the youngest athlete in the Argentine delegation. On the other hand, Macarena Ceballos, who achieved the A mark in the 100-meter breaststroke at the 2023 Fukuoka World Championships, is the other representative of Argentine swimming at the Olympic event.

All Argentina’s qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games

The Games will open on Friday, July 26, 2024 and will run until August 11. The Argentine delegation has 133 athletes qualified so far who will compete in 23 sports: football, tennis, volleyball, athletics, rugby 7s, canoeing, swimming, cycling, horse riding, fencing, golf, field hockey, handball, judo, modern pentathlon , rowing, skateboarding, taekwondo, table tennis, archery, shooting sports, triathlon and sailing.
