Over the past weekend, the “Gran Premio Giovanissimi” for the pre-competitive classes of children and teenagers took place in Palermo at the PalaOreto.
The following athletes participated for the ASD PROVINCIAL JUDO CLUB of Maestro Carmelo Mendolia: Alessi Giorgio, Cangemi Luigi, D’Emilio Gioele Tommaso, Grifò Vincent, Mento Natalie, Paolino Leonardo and Pino Emanuel Felice. The athletes were followed on the tatami by coach Ylenia Mendolia and they all distinguished themselves by playing various victorious matches, demonstrating excellent foundations which are the result of the technical work carried out in the gym on a daily basis.
“At this age, the exasperated search for victory is not important, says the coach Ylenia Mendolia, but rather the technical and character growth necessary to approach the activity
future competitive sports”.
