Athletes Shine at International Track and Field Competition: Recap of Top Performances

Chaksh was credited with only one of six attempts in the competition, in which he threw the javelin 81.61 meters.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Keshorn Walcott had the best javelin throw of 84.89 metres, while Anderson Peters of Grenada was second with a throw of 82.90 metres.

On the other hand, in the triple jump, Lasmane achieved her best result of 13.59 meters in the first attempt. The second run was not counted for her, but in the continuation she reached 13.56, 13.54, 13.25 and 13.22 meters.

Jamaican athlete Shanika Ricketts took the first place, who jumped 14.58 meters, reaching her best result of the season, while Finland’s Senni Salminen won the second place (13.85 meters).

The pole vaulter Valters Kreišs, overcoming the bar at a height of 5.23 meters, ranked fourth. The Latvian, after overcoming 5.23 meters, had three unsuccessful attempts to jump over 5.37 meters.

Ukrainian Vladislav Malikhin (5.47 meters) celebrated the victory in the pole vault.
