The duel at the San Mamés Stadium between Athletic Club and Getafe will be responsible for opening the 2024-2025 season in LaLiga EA Sports on a first day that will start on Thursday, August 15 and will conclude on Monday, the 19th, with two matches per day, as revealed this Thursday by LaLiga.
The clash between Ernesto Valverde’s team and José Bordalás’ team will kick off the new campaign at 7:00 p.m., and it will not be the only one that day, since the Benito Villamarín will face each other at 9:30 p.m. Betis and Girona.
As for the favorites for the title, the current champion, Real Madrid, will visit RCD Mallorca on Sunday the 18th at 9:30 p.m., while FC Barcelona will play at Mestalla against Valencia the day before at the same time. Atlético de Madrid will close this first matchday at home against Villarreal on Monday the 19th, also at 9:30 p.m.
