Atlanta Hawks decline qualifying offer for Saddiq Bey, making him unrestricted free agent

The Atlanta Hawks will not exercise their $6.49 million qualifying offer, and Saddiq Bey will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, free to negotiate a new commitment with any NBA franchise, ESPN’s Wojnarowski reported.

Bey landed with the Hawks on February 9, 2023 via a four-way deal between the Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers.

In a season and a half in Atlanta he has played a total of 88 official games (58 as a starter) with figures of 13.1 points and 6 rebounds in 30.6 minutes per night.
