Atlético beat Internacional, away from home, 2 x 1, and ended the negative sequence of two defeats and a draw.
With 17 points, Galo reaches the G6 with a victory – Athletico, sixth placed, has 19, and faces Vitória, also this Sunday, at 7:30 pm.
Led again by assistant coach Anderson Gomes, Atlético-GO, in turn, opens the relegation zone, with 10 points, after the draw with Grêmio in the last round.
Gabriel Milito continues with many absences to line up for Atlético.
