The group phase of the 2024 European Football Championship in Germany has come to an end. A look at the UEFA statistics reveals that Austria’s team has recorded the most ball recoveries with 132 – ex aequo with Georgia (132), which also made it to the round of 16.
The Austrians are also first in the category of “fouls committed” (49). Behind Germany (8), the team of team manager Ralf Rangnick scored the second most goals (6) in the group phase, with two header goals leading the ranking.
