Lukas Neumayer failed in the quarterfinals of the Challenger in Prostejov (Czech Republic).
The Salzburg player narrowly lost the first set in a tiebreak against top seed Laslo Djere (5:7). The Serb, who is ranked 52nd in the ATP rankings, clearly won the second set 6:2. Neumayer most recently competed in the qualification for the French Open.
Filip Misolic is another Austrian to fail at a Challenger tournament. The Styrian lost in the round of 16 in Zagreb to Spaniard Oriol Roca Batalla 4:6, 6:7 (5). Misolic recently played his way from the qualification to the second round at the French Open.
