Austria’s swimmers won two gold medals at the end of the European Long Course Championships in Belgrade. After Felix Auböck, who triumphed in the 400 m freestyle, the 4 x 100 m medley relay team consisting of Bernhard Reitshammer, Valentin Bayer, Simon Bucher and Heiko Gigler also sensationally swam to gold.
In the final, the OSV quartet finished second and third, beating Poland and Ukraine by a whisker, by five and nine hundredths of a second respectively, in 3:33.41 minutes.
