Badminton Club of Châtelet Honored for Quality Welcome and Dedication to Promoting Practice

The Badminton club of Châtelet was doubly distinguished, by the Ligue du Centre-Val de Loire, for the quality of the welcome and the dedication to promoting the practice.

With sixty-four licensees, half of whom are classified, where parity is respected and where under-18s account for half of the workforce, the Badminton club Le Châtelet (BCLC) was distinguished by the Ligue du Centre- Loire Valley, at the Châtelet gymnasium.

Two banners

Kim Nivault, president of the League, and Cédric Grosjean, strategic director, presented the president, Benoît Cassonnet, with two awards: one silver, for the efforts made by the club in terms of quality of reception; the other bronze, for dedication, thanks to activities and efforts aimed at young people and women.

The club was labeled on these two orientations, out of the five offered by the League, thanks to the validation of different criteria intended to help clubs to structure themselves.

The distinction is represented, concretely, by the presentation of banners, which will be installed in the gymnasium, after agreement from the Intercommunal School Union.

The ceremony was preceded by a “bad fitness” session led by Margaux Padilla. The club has a qualified facilitator, Nicolas Brunet, and is offering, until August 31, a summer license for 30 euros, to allow those who wish to try the discipline.
