Baja California archery delegation shines with 12 gold medals at CONADE 2024 National Games

With the gold medal from Yatana Mora and Francisco Padilla, the Baja California archery delegation closed its participation in the CONADE 2024 National Games, a competition held at the Revolución Sports Center in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

During the last day of the discipline in the great national event, the first to win gold metals were Adriana Castillo and Carlos Flores, in the Mixed Under-21 compound bow category.

Subsequently, Yatana Mora and Francisco Padilla made use of their experience to win the mixed U-21 recurve bow category, and give the 29th state its twelfth gold medal in archery.

“We completely exceeded expectations, we won 12 gold medals and we leave happy. The team is very united, the coaches, the coaching staff, everyone did a great job. The boys behaved up to standard at all times and we are happy with the result,” commented the coach of the Baja California archery team, Luis Alfaro.

Baja California achieved 12 gold medals, far surpassing the 7 gold medals obtained in the 2023 edition of the CONADE Nationals. In addition, the Baja Californians obtained 8 silver medals and 12 bronze medals.
