This weekend the Balearic Outdoor Championship was held in es Cubells. The event that crowned the best in the Balearic Islands had great Ibizan prominence, as usual.
Starting with the smallest, in the mixed recurve juvenile, Aina Sangonzalo (S’Arc d’Eivissa) won. Nour Haloui (Son Pardo) was second and Hugo Manrique (Formentera), third.
In the U15 recurve, in women there was a triplet for Es Cubells with Ainhora Retamal, Emma Moya and María Valente. In boys, the best was Pau Altadill (S’Arc), who was escorted on the podium by Mateu Ribas and Marc Ribas, both from Es Cubells.
In under-18 recurve, Nadia Roig (S’Arc) beat Menorcan Aina Gilabert and Majorcan Pilar Pascual. In the men’s category, the Ibizan triple with Eduardo Santolaria (Es Cubells), Aitor Ramiro (Es Cubells) and Tashi Samper (S’Arc).
Not a recurve at all, the titles stayed on the island with the S’Arc archers Nerea López and Pere Cincunegui. And in compound, JaumeLlorens (es Cubells) and Tania Martín (Son Pardo) won.
Finally, in veteran S’Arc triplets led by Bosco Cortés, Antonio Hidalgo and Santiago Daza.
