The Archers de Sillé club was at the Pays de la Loire regional archery championship last Sunday in Montaigu in Vendée.
Three of the barebow archers from the Sille club were in the running.
In the men’s category, Laurent Carlin is ranked 7th, but he is gaining experience for next season, the best will follow, underlines the coach.
Among the women, Nathalie Bécu finished first, she regained her title that Dominique Cochet had stolen from her last year. Dominique Cochet ranks second. So, we have two new regional champions and vice-champions in the 50m distance barebow for the greatest pleasure of those who follow us, and for the happiness of the club.”
Next week, the archers will be in Normandy at Ouistreham for the last selective competition before the French championship.
