On June 28, Bai Haotian, a basketball player from Shenzhen Marco Polo Team, visited Baishida Primary School and gave a basketball training class to the school’s female basketball players. This charity event aims to promote basketball, ignite the enthusiasm of young people for basketball, and make more students like basketball and participate in basketball.

At the beginning of the training, Bai Haotian led the athletes to warm up with the ball, so that the children’s whole body joints could fully move and prepare for the subsequent high-intensity training. Immediately afterwards, he began to teach three-person passing and fast break layup techniques. Under his careful guidance, the athletes gradually mastered the essentials of the movements, and their tactical awareness also improved significantly.

During the 70-minute training, Bai Haotian always had strict requirements. Every action and every pass must be accurate. Those who failed to meet the standard must start over, and those who failed to score must score before continuing. At the same time, encouraging words such as “It’s okay”, “Try again”, “Go in”, “Good job!” and “Beautiful!” were heard. When the training was coming to an end, the coach arranged a practical exercise to test the three-person pass and fast layup tactics. The athletes were divided into groups of three, and played against each other in pairs, and flexibly applied the tactics they learned to the court.

After the course, the female basketball players of Bestada Primary School said that they were very happy to receive Bai Haotian’s guidance and that they gained a lot from the training session.
