Bayer 04 Leverkusen is about to make its first strike on the transfer market this summer. According to kicker information, youngster Jeanuel Belocian is set to come from Stade Rennes.

Last year, Leverkusen – like league rival Borussia Dortmund – was said to have tried to sign youngster Jeanuel Belocian from Stade Rennes. Now, according to information from kicker, the German double winner is close to signing the 19-year-old, who can be used in a defensive role, and is about to make his first transfer this summer.
Belocian, originally from Guadeloupe, moved to Stade Rennes in Brittany in 2020, where he initially played in the youth team before making his first appearance in Ligue 1 in 2022. To date, he has made 38 more competitive appearances, 27 of them in the season just ended, with him alternating between two positions.
Belocian made his debut under Henry in the French U21
The two-time French U-21 international, who made his debut under coach Thierry Henry in November 2023, can play not only on the left defensive side, but also as a centre-back, and played both roles in the first division club’s back four in the 2023/24 season.

Belocian is dynamic, is considered a strong, aggressive tackler and an excellent build-up player thanks to his excellent left foot.
