The Rhinelander’s captain is joining the French first division team JDA Dijon after a year in the Rhineland. The Baskets announced this on Friday.
The national player has “always put himself fully at the service of the team in his role as captain, for which we are grateful,” said sporting director Savo Milovic: “One of the lessons we learned from last season, however, is that although we had a broad range of players, we were too similar in terms of player types, which meant we lacked variability.”
Sengfelder moved to Bonn in the summer of 2023 and has since played in 56 competitive games for the Baskets.
