Australia is a beautiful country, but as a football nation it doesn’t amount to much. First division club Perth Glory has completed a striking transfer. They managed to get a Belgian defender.

The Australian club announced the arrival of Anas Hamzaoui. The player has a past with Anderlecht and Club Brugge, where he played in the youth ranks. He was unable to achieve the big breakthrough there. He later also played for STVV, Tubeke, Union SG, Virton and La Louvière. He was clubless for the past year.
With Perth Glory he has now made a very remarkable transition. The defender was of course immediately charmed when Perth Glory came knocking. He spoke through the club channels.

“When I was approached by a club like Perth Glory, I was immediately open to a new challenge and I am very excited about it. I had a very good feeling when I saw the club. I hope we will achieve great things this season and I will certainly work hard to make that happen,” he said.
