Borussia Dortmund Gives Up Hope of Signing Jadon Sancho Permanently from Manchester United

Borussia Dortmund, News: BVB gives up hope of signing Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho’s return to Borussia Dortmund probably only lasted half a year. According to a report in Sport Bild, BVB has now given up hope of signing the attacking player permanently after his loan from Manchester United expires at the end of June.

According to this, Dortmund simply cannot afford the transfer fee that United wants for Sancho. The Red Devils are likely to ask for a price of 47 to 60 million euros for Sancho.

United are reportedly keen to sell Sancho this summer. The 24-year-old is under contract in Manchester until 2026, but had a falling out with coach Erik ten Hag at the start of last season, was subsequently suspended and was not allowed to play a game for months.

In January, he returned to Dortmund on loan and improved noticeably over the course of the last six months. In total, Sancho scored three goals and provided three assists in 21 appearances during his second time at BVB.
