Borussia Dortmund will probably announce the transfer of Samuele Inacio shortly. According to Sky, the Italian striker talent has decided to move to BVB, over the German record champions FC Bayern Munich, who are also interested.
The 16-year-old striker currently plays for the U17 team of the Italian first division club and Europa League winners Atalanta Bergamo.
Inacio, who reportedly had numerous offers from various top clubs, is set to play for the U19 team of Champions League finalists Dortmund. The Westphalians are said to want to develop him for the professionals as soon as possible.
Last season, Inacio played 14 competitive matches for Atalanta’s U17 team as a hanging striker, scoring six goals.
The attacker has also played for Italy’s youth national teams. For the U15s, Inacio has scored seven goals in eleven international matches. For the U16s, where he is currently active and for which he made his debut in August last year, he has scored two goals in five matches.
