Celtics win NBA title by comfortably beating Dallas in
game 5 of the Finals. An easy win, 106-88, leading to the
conquest of the 18th title in their history, an NBA record, one more than the Los Angeles Lakers, historic rivals. A game, number 101 of the season, dominated by the Celtics, with the Mavericks immediately knocked out, as confirmed by the 21 points gap at halftime (67-46). Luka Doncic’s 28 weren’t enough to stop Boston in front of the TD Garden crowd ready to celebrate their 18th title, which had been missing since 2008. “I’m struggling to make it happen, I’m just trying to enjoy it. The last seven years have been a roller coaster. We experienced difficult defeats at home in the play-offs. We lost the title in front of our fans.
