As is well known, FC Bayern parted ways with Thomas Tuchel after the last season. This means that the Munich team has once again prematurely ended its collaboration with a trainer and will have to pay a severance payment again. In Tuchel’s case, however, this is said to be lower than previously thought.
Munich – How the Sports IMAGE reported that Bayern and Thomas Tuchel have settled all outstanding issues regarding his transfer fee. The 50-year-old will receive a payment of ten million euros in return for terminating his contract, which was originally valid until 2025.

What is interesting is that if Tuchel takes up a new coaching job before the summer of 2025, the severance payment will be reduced proportionately.
Tuchel collects less than expected
In recent weeks, there have been reports of an “XXL severance payment” that is said to be over the 10 million euro mark. It was also said that the 50-year-old would also receive his severance payment if he were to take on a new coaching position in the coming summer.
