Brighton Eyeing Fabian Huerzeler as Potential New Coach

Fabian Huerzeler

Since May 18, Brighton has no longer had a coach. The English club which is looking for a new technician is thinking of a coach from the German second division.

“If I will sign a new contract at Brighton? For the moment no. I need to speak with Tony Bloom (the president, editor’s note) about the club’s project in order to make a decision for my future. I am ambitious”. This is Roberto De Zerbi’s statement a few weeks ago regarding his future. Then, the Italian technician moved from words to action by deciding to leave the team in the south of England.

Since then, Brighton has been looking for a new coach. The Seaguils have even turned to their former coach Ghaham Potter who has yet to give a concrete answer. Finally Brighton activated another track that was surprising to say the least. The one that leads to a coach in the German second division.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Brighton will continue to want to hand over the team to Fabian Hürzeler. A completely unknown name but one that is working wonders across the Rhine, where he is considered one of the most promising German coaches.
