Brilliant Performances and Victories in the Mazatlán Baseball Tournament-Venados 2024

MAZATLÁN._ The Eagles Pass-Texas team had a brilliant performance by achieving a No-Hit No-Run over Dorados Arteaga, on matchday one of the Mazatlán Baseball Tournament-Venados 2024.

The Texans won by a score of 9-0, in a game in which the No-Hitter was a combined 5 pitchers, in the Minor Youth category.

Easton García opened for Eagles Pass and was followed by Kaleb García, Leonardo García, the winner Aron González and Cristian Valadez closed.

The defeat went to Humberto Luna.

Julián De Hoyos stood out with a 2-run homer in the fourth inning, where his team achieved a cluster of 4 runs.

Before, he scored one in the first act, one more in the second and two in the third inning.

BEAT REGION IV MAZATLAN

The team representing Region IV of Mazatlán debuted with a 14-0 knockout victory over Bravos de Guadalajara, in a game in the Senior Children’s category.

Gael Acosta took the win, while Dominik Ramos lost.

Region IV headed to victory with a juicy 11-run rally in the first inning, where 17 Mazatlan hitters went to the plate.

Gael Acosta stood out with the bat by going 3-for-3, and with two hits, Luis Domínguez, Édgar Hernández, Alonso Ibarra and Leo Guzmán.

In Infantil Menor, Region IV they also won by a crushing score of 31-0 over Yankees Nuevo Laredo-Tamaulipas.

Iker Patiño was the winning pitcher, with Mateo Ramírez in relief.

The loss went to Máximo Medina, who was replaced by Ían Hernández, Juan Carlos Navarro and Mateo Velarde.

Luis Ángel Ríos hit a home run for the Mazatlan ninth, went 3-3 and also received a pair of bases, while his teammate Santiago Fuente went 5-5.

Another Mazatlan team that started the tournament with a win is Guardians Muralla, who beat Talentos-Chihuahua by a 16-0 shutout in the Senior Youth category.

Yair Velarde scored the victory on the shooting hill, while Carlos Carnero suffered the setback.

Alex Tolosa was the best offensively for Muralla, going 3-3 with a triple, double and single.

Carlos Salas batted 2-for-3, as did Diego Santos.

POWERFUL DEBUT OF USA PRIME

The USA Prime Arizona team had a crushing debut by defeating the Saraperos Saltillo team 20-6 in the Juvenile Minor category.

A juicy 13-run third inning secured the U.S. team its first win. They had previously scored two runs in the first inning and five in the second.

Salaries scored his 3 runs in the bottom of the third inning.

Patrick Manríquez stood out on offense for USA Prime by going 3 for 3, including a home run in the third inning, and driving in 6 runs in the game.

Derek Espinoza and Ían Rivera also stood out with two hits each.

Jadier Mendoza took the win on the shooting hill, while Jayson Narro was the loser.

THE ACTION CONTINUES

This Friday the activity continues on the third day of competition with matches on the fields of the Benito Juárez Sports Unit, Liga Quintero Castañeda, Liga Muralla and Liga Mazatlán, starting at 8:00 am.
