Jan-Niklas Beste, the Bundesliga’s shooting star, could imagine a move to Eintracht Frankfurt. Several clubs are vying for the left winger. But a move would be expensive for the new club.

And now the football professional from Hamm (NRW), who still has a year under contract with 1. FC Heidenheim, seems to have set his sights on a club where he could experience this on a regular basis.

Jan-Niklas Beste: Transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt in sight

At Eintracht Frankfurt, sporting director Markus Krösche is currently driving forward squad planning. It is currently unknown who the next reinforcements will be. However, Beste, one of the shooting stars of the last Bundesliga season, can apparently imagine a move to SGE.

As the „Bild“ reported, he is not averse to joining Eintracht. Beste rose to the Bundesliga with 1. FC Heidenheim and took off. His set pieces in particular were feared by opposing teams. In the past season, which he finished eighth with Heidenheim and thus qualified for the Conference League, he played 31 games in which he scored eight goals and provided 13 assists. There is great interest in the 25-year-old, who was nominated for the national team by national coach Julian Nagelsmann and was apparently also on the shortlist for a ticket to the European Championships. The pay-TV broadcaster Sky reported that AC Florence, FC Villarreal, FC Everton and Genoa CFC are vying for the left winger.

    Transfer within the Bundesliga preferred

Beste is said to be able to imagine a move in the summer in order to take the next step in his career. According to Sky information, however, he would prefer a transfer within the Bundesliga to a move abroad.

However, the 25-year-old would not be a good fit for Eintracht Frankfurt. “Kicker” sports magazine reported that 1. FC Heidenheim would only be willing to talk if the sum was in the double-digit millions – despite the contract only running until 2025. The club has apparently made the left winger an offer to extend his contract, but according to information from “Kicker” it will be extremely difficult to keep him. If Heidenheim cannot agree on a transfer fee with any club, there is a great risk that Jan-Niklas Beste will leave the club for free after the next season.
