Cali Roma closes the first round of the Serie B baseball championship, Group D, with a 1-1 (3-9 and 10-8) against Foggia. A result that can be willingly accepted by Marco Brandi’s team, who lost game 1 after having spoiled something in the 3rd inning and won game 2 by staggering a bit during the last opponent’s attack. In the first match (on the mound Morese against Faria) the Romans filled the bases in the 3rd inning with no one out at 0-0, but were unable to score and were punished by the opposing team with 2 points. After the first round we are in line with the set objective, behind a victory in the standings over Foggia and Paternò. So a very balanced championship. We will support the line up with reinforcements and in the second round we want to be in the running for a place in the playoffs until the end.”
