This week, Junior de Barranquilla and Carlos Bacca began talks to arrange their continuity in the rojiblanco team. The forward explained this week that he is willing to listen to the offer that the leadership of the red and white team will make him.
“We were able to talk about everything about the intention they have with me. They (Junior) are happy with what I have been doing on the field and off. They wanted to know my disposition, how I was, that was all that was talked about. Now we have to wait and see what decisions they are going to make,” Bacca said in statements to the Blu Radio Sports Blog program.
Diario Deportes learned what the offer that Junior made to Bacca was and the player’s response.
Junior offered Bacca one more year on his contract. Bacca ordered two. Given this, Junior proposed that they give him the year and, depending on his level, they will evaluate the option of extending the Buenos Aires’ stay for another year. Bacca’s response was that he will think about it.
Now, the decision is up to Bacca if he accepts Junior’s offer.
