The Melilla Paddle Federation Last week, I organized an activity aimed at the growth and development of women’s paddle tennis in our city. These ‘Women’s Days’, held throughout Friday and Saturday, had as their main nucleus the presence of the three-time padel world champion, Nela Brito. Around it, and a team of technicians from the Federation (Christian Volpe, Carlos Díaz-Otero, Mamen Pérez and Juanjo Medina), the different training parts of this initiative were carried out. Without a doubt, it was a success in participation, since This time there were forty registrations, more than double the number of the previous season, which reflects the notable growth that has occurred in Melilla women’s padel in recent months. All participants were able to enjoy the different sections that These sessions included, which included, technical training, tactical part, improvement of game situations, pulls, competitions, contests, exhibition match, etc. All of this closed with a closing event on Saturday afternoon, in which a gift raffle was held in which everyone who took part took home some detail (racket bags, backpacks, t-shirts, overgrips, etc…) included. the grand prize of a padel racket. From the Melillense Padel Federation (FMLP) Nela Brito was thanked for her visit to our city to continue promoting and projecting this sport.
