İZMİR (AA) – The champions were announced in the final stage of the 3×3 basketball event Red Bull Half Court, one of the street basketball tournaments in Izmir.
In the final stage of the event, where amateur basketball players exhibited their talents, organized jointly with the University Sports Federation, eight teams each, men and women, competed in Cumhuriyet Square.
In the women’s final, Erzurum Atatürk University won the cup by beating Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University 6-4.
In the men’s final, Beykoz University won the cup by beating Erzurum Atatürk University 9-8.

Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Murat Eskici presented the medals and cups to the champion teams.
During the organization, 3-point contests and dunk shows took place, with the participation of the audience, and musician Anıl Piyancı gave a concert.
The winning teams of the men’s and women’s categories at the Red Bull Half Court, held in 25 countries this year, were entitled to represent Turkey at the world final in New York in October.
