Chema Moreno becomes the fourth new face of the Unió Esportiva Olot for the 2024-25 academic year. The 31-year-old Madrid forward has one extensive curriculum in Second B. It comes from CFB Futur, with whom he has recently contested promotion to Primera RFEF. Despite being born in Madrid, Moreno has been living in Catalonia for some time and it is where he raised his family. He has lived in Vic, has a residence in Ripoll and speaks Catalan perfectly.
Jose María Moreno López made his debut at the age of 18 in the Third Division with CF Trival Valderas. From there he followed RCD Carabanchel, Alcorcón B and CD Navalcarnero, with whom he made the jump to the bronze division (2016-17). He then played for CD Lealtad ii and CD Izarra before setting foot on Catalan territory with CF Badalona (2019-2021). Two seasons at the scapular team (7 goals) before signing for UD Alzira and Peña Deportiva d’Eivissa, clubs where he scored 7 goals in each of the campaigns. Last year he started at RB Linense and in the winter market he strengthened his position CF Badalona Futurewith whom he scored 3 goals and contested the promotion play-off to Primera RFEF.
