The Cleveland Cavaliers announced they have hired Kenny Atkinson as the 24th head coach in franchise history. Atkinson comes from three seasons on the staff of the Golden State Warriors, with whom he won the NBA title in 2022. He also has experience as an assistant with the Clippers, Hawks and Knicks as well as, above all, as head coach of the Brooklyn Nets between 2016 and 2020 Atkinson will be on the staff of the French national team at the 2024 Olympics.
