Club Q Shooter Takes Plea Deal on Federal Hate Crime Charges

A juvenile was shot and seriously injured in the vicinity of 15th and Market streets in San Francisco on Tuesday evening. There are few details so far, but the shooting took place around 9:13 pm. [KRON4]Anderson Lee Aldrich, the 24-year-old shooter in the 2022 mass shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs that killed five people and injured 19 others, accepted a plea deal and was sentenced today to 55 concurrent life sentences for 74 federal hate-crime charges. Aldrich is already serving five consecutive life sentences in a state prison after pleading guilty last year in state court — and at the time he was still denying that the shooting was a hate crime.
