In Cranston, Rhode Island, the area where Coach Mazzulla’s family resides, the Italian community is made up almost exclusively of emigrants of Itran origin, as evidenced by the recent construction of Itri Park in the Knightsville neighborhood and the celebration of the feast of the Madonna della Civita, patron saint of Itri, every 21st July, at the same time as Italy. Itri also has a strong passion for basketball. The local team has just been promoted to Serie D. The dream now is to see coach Mazzulla in Itri soon.
