Coach Lerjan Cáceres: Making Waves in Aruba Soccer

By Ángel Vera @angelv3714.- Coach Lerjan Cáceres, originally from the state of Táchira and 33 years old, he has been making his way in soccer Aruba.

Caceres tHe has been in the islander’s country for seven years and has a B License in Venezuela and the same one given by the Dutch Association.

She is currently a technical assistant for the Under 15 Women’s National Team that is preparing to play in the CONCACAF championship in the month of August. She is also second assistant for the Aruba AWNT Women’s National Team.

At the club level he worked for Independiente Caravel of the First Division. He was main strategist for CD Rooi Afo in the second category and is a private coach at ASA (Aruba Soccer Academy).

In the national team’s coaching staff he stands out for being the only Latino who belongs to the work teams. He already has achievements, because last year in mid-August he was an assistant for the Aruba U14 National Team. They were runners-up in the CFU, which is the Caribbean championship, where they lost against Puerto Rico.

During this time, coach Lerjan Cáceres has coordinated the entire SV Britannia team from the first team, managing to win the championship team and qualify for the CFU championship next season against other islands and Caribbean countries.
