Coahuila’s Archers Make Their Mark at Archery World Cup in Turkey

Coahuila’s Bruno Martínez, Ana Paula Vázquez and Ángela Ruiz began their participation in the Archery World Cup that takes place in Antalya, Turkey.

HOW DID THE COAHUILENSES DO?

In the recurve bow classification phase, Ana Paula Vázquez placed 39th with 645 points, while Ángela Ruiz placed 52nd with 637; Bruno Martínez Wing was ranked 82nd with 649.

In the individual Olympic round, Ángela Ruiz will face Veronika Marchenko, from Ukraine, in her first match; while Ana Paula Vázquez will clash with Ariana Nuer Dunia, from Malaysia.

By team, the two Coahuila players along with Alejandra Valencia placed 11th with 1933 points, and will face Greece in their first match; Bruno Martínez, meanwhile, was ranked alongside Carlos Rojas and Matías Grande in 14th place with 1990, facing Colombia in the first round.

In team composition, Dafne Quintero and Sebastián García have ended their participation after being eliminated by Great Britain and Austria, respectively.
