tvOnenews.com – Philippine National Team coach, Tom Saintfiet revealed the condition of defender Adrian Ugelvik, who was hospitalized as a result of an incident with Ernando Ari Sutaryadi in the 2026 World Cup Qualification match.
As is known, a tense situation occurred near the end of the Indonesian national team’s match against the Philippines.
Ernando Ari and Adrian Ugelvik were involved in a heavy collision which caused them to immediately fall to the ground.
The Garuda squad goalkeeper was able to get up slowly a few moments later.
However, Adrian had not yet gotten up and a row of other players immediately quickly formed a circle to cover Adrian who was in pain.
A stretcher and ambulance entered the field to evacuate Adrian from the field and receive help at the nearest hospital.
Tom Saintfiet, the Philippines coach, revealed Adrian Ugelvik’s condition in a press conference after the match at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK).
