Contract Negotiations: Micah Parsons’ Future with the Dallas Cowboys

A couple of Dallas Cowboys leaders are in the middle of contract negotiations, but Micah Parsons is the one who monopolizes the spotlight due to the importance of the player. Parsons, one of the NFL’s fiercest defenders, is seeking a mega deal similar to the $140 million deal Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson just signed.

Although Parsons insists that he wants to stay in Dallas, the possibility that another team appears on the radar is very latent and could win the race for the player.

Parsons was born in Pennsylvania and played college football at Penn State, but much of his decision seems to revolve around his respect for Mike Tomlin. Set to become a free agent after the 2025 season, Parsons has 40.5 sacks in the regular season and finished the 2023 campaign with a career-high 14 sacks.
