The first of the two Cuneo events dedicated to the Targa 2024 regional archery championships, reserved for the Compound and Barebow divisions, took place on Sunday 23 June in Cuneo.
The organization of the four local clubs, Arcclub Fossano, Gruppo Arcieri Monregalesi and Arcieri di Cuneo, led by the Arcieri dell’Elice, was supported by the administration of the City of Cuneo, which made the city facility of the Fratelli Stadium available Paschiero allowing the return to Cuneo of an archery event of this level more than three decades after the last time.

Around 100 archers were on the shooting line for the 72 qualifying arrows, followed by the overall team, mixedteam and individual matches, despite the rain.
Leonardo Costantino (Arcieri delle Alpi) is the overall champion in the men’s compound, beating Marco Tosco (Arcieri delle Alpignano) in the final 146-145, third place for Danilo Chinotti (Arcieri delle Alpi). In the women’s category, title for Francesca Aloisi (Arcieri Iuvenilia) over Gelsomina Di Michele (Arcieri delle Alpi) 146-123, third position for Giulia Di Nardo (Arcieri delle Alpi).

Stefano Reggiani (Arcieri Conte Rosso) wins the individual title in the men’s naked arch by winning 6-2 in the final against Alessandro Di Nardo (Arcieri delle Alpi). It is once again a derby for the women’s Arcieri delle Alpi, Elisa Medico beats Marta Pavan 6-2, third is Alessandra Tessari. (Arc. Collegno).
In the compound teams, the male archers Iuvenilia (Aloisi, Corgiat Loia, Depaoli) won 230-227 over the Arcieri Alpignano, with the Arcieri delle Alpi third. In the MixedTeam, the pair of the Arcieri Iuvenilia (Aloisi, Aloisi) prevailed 152-149 on the Arcieri delle Alpi (Di Nardo, Costantino), third position for Collegno.
The Conte Rosso archers (Gambino, Quagliotto, Reggiani) obtained the men’s bare bow team title by beating the Arcieri delle Alpi 6-0, third place for the Arcieri Varian. In the mixed team final the pair of the Arcieri delle Alpi (Medico, Morra) prevailed 6-2 over the Arcieri di Volpiano).
Appointment on Sunday 30 June again at the Paschiero Stadium, with races starting at 9.15 am, for the Olympic division, all classes.
