Whether they are a business leader, a young student, a former deputy mayor or the mayor of Saint-Pathus (Seine-et-Marne), they all want to defend their vision of the municipality during the early elections of June 30 and July 7, 2024, at the same time as the legislative elections.

Pathusian for more than 22 years, the leading candidate of Saint-Pathus Otherwise, wanted to apply in order to bring more probity and honesty within the municipality.
“With my team, we want to bring to the municipality another way of managing and understanding politics. We want integrity, exchange, sharing with local residents. We need less authoritarianism and more honesty, seriousness in order to be able to refocus things on the general interest of the municipality,” explains the candidate.
His first actions, if elected, will be to bring dialogue and trust with collaborators, residents and oppositions. Despite everything, the candidate knows that 2026 is fast approaching.
“Of course, we must urgently review urbanization, but we must be lucid about the temporality between the June election and that of 2026, which will arrive very quickly. You need to make a list of needs and wants. Then, we will prioritize according to the municipality’s means,” he explains.

The youngest of these early elections, at only 19 years old, this resident wishes to bring more transparency and security to his commune with the Rassemblement pour Saint-Pathus (RN) list.
“Complicated to take major measures in 18 months, before the new elections in 2026. First of all, I want to make the city’s accounts public. There has been too much lack of transparency, and I want to restore the confidence of the Pathusians. This will strengthen our social coherence. In addition, I aspire to restore an ecological identity and above all, bring more security to Saint-Pathus with more functional cameras. Finally, even if certain projects are well advanced, we want to freeze construction that can be stopped,” he lists.

Former first deputy of the outgoing mayor, Thierry Lemaire presents himself with his list Better living in Saint-Pathus. In his program, one of the most important points to work on is urbanization.
“We want to completely revise the Local Urban Planning Plan (PLU), in relation to construction. Review current permits and if possible challenge them. Rework the work on the schools and the church which is at risk of landslides. Finally, we want to eliminate representation expenses and the mayor’s service car. Steps will be taken as quickly as possible for this last point,” he assures.
His vision of the last mandate is clear, he wants to change completely. “We want to stop the excesses of the current mayor, Jean-Benoît Pinturier. We want to stop the expansion of construction,” insists Thierry Lemaire.

Mayor since 2008 with Agir pour Saint-Pathus, Jean-Benoît Pinturier wishes to complete his mandate and “finish what we promised and wish to complete our approach on the equipment of Pathusiens”, declares the mayor in office.
One of his measures is to attack the work on the city’s long-awaited synthetic field. “We will commit, in writing, to making the synthetic pitch in September. Since the budget has not been voted on, the matter has been referred to the Regional Audit Chamber. The latter has established a minimum budget. However, it will be possible for the current or new municipal team to establish another budget. If we are elected, we will hold another municipal council with a modifying decision, in order to include the synthetic work,” he confides.
