The ranking of the third parties is determined successively by the number of points achieved. The goal difference, number of goals scored, number of wins and the disciplinary balance are then examined.
If there is still no difference between two teams, the general ranking after the qualifying campaign for Euro 2024 will be taken into account. If host country Germany is involved, a draw will actually be made.
The exact division of the 1/8th finals can only be determined when the 4 best third places are known. According to the table below, these countries will face the group winners of group B, group C, group E and group F.
