Midfielder Diego Miranda positively assessed his performance in the last edition of Arab Division 1. In this sense, with 12 goal contributions, he was one of Al Arabi’s highlights in the competition.
After his fifth season in Saudi Arabian football, the Gaucho spoke about his performance. Despite being pleased with his trajectory, he did not fail to regret the fact that he did not achieve promotion in 2023/2024. Namely, in the competition where three teams were promoted (Al-Qadisiyah, Al Orobah and Al Kholood), Al Arabi finished in fourth place.
“I believe I had another great season. In every edition of the league I played in, my team fought until the end for access. In two of them, we achieved our objective. Evidently, we wanted to have taken Al Arabi to the country’s elite. But it was a good campaign for the team and I enjoyed the level at which I performed,” he declared.
As he will not remain at Al Arabi, Diego Miranda must decide which club he will play for in the 2024/25 season in the coming weeks. Therefore, given his full adaptation, the athlete should remain in the Middle Eastern country.
In addition to his appreciation in the local market, the name that played for clubs such as Chapecoense, Juventude and Náutico in Brazil said he was satisfied with life in Saudi Arabia:
