The Haar Disciples won game two against the Heidenheim Heideköpfe 1-0 in their home ballpark Eglfing in the late afternoon. Haar’s starting pitcher Ryan Bollinger was named man of the match. The American pitched a complete game over the shortened playing time of seven innings and only allowed five hits from the Heideköpfe. The powerful Heidenheimers were unable to score anything against the lefty. The duel between Bollinger and batter ended in a strikeout ten times.

Patrick Music scored the decisive run for the Munich suburban team in the third inning with an RBI single. Despite a strong performance from Heidenheim’s starting pitcher Jared Mortensen, the Canadian suffered the bitter loss. Mortensen only allowed three hits, one walk and one run in five innings on the mound. On the plus side, he recorded six strikeouts.
