Eduardo Camavinga is a French teammate of Thibaut Courtois at Real Madrid. Together they won the Champions League this year, Courtois was in goal. But the goalkeeper did not consider himself fit enough for the European Championship.
On top of that, there was a dispute with national coach Domenico Tedesco about the captain’s armband. Courtois left the Red Devils selection and never returned. Both Courtois and Tedesco are certain of their own right.
Camavigna was asked whether he was happy that Courtois is not there due to an argument with the Belgian national coach. “I’m glad he’s not there because he fought… wait, I don’t know if they fought,” Camavinga said in surprise.
“Did they fight?! What did they say to each other?” Camavinga wondered. “You’ll explain it to me later.” So the French are not aware of the dispute between Courtois and Tedesco.
