Eintracht Frankfurt Secures American Talent Paxten Aaronson for Long-Term Deal

Bundesliga soccer club Eintracht Frankfurt has signed the American offensive talent Paxten Aaronson for the long term. The 20-year-old has extended his contract until 2028 and will be loaned to Dutch first division club FC Utrecht for the coming season. Eintracht announced this on Friday. Aaronson had already played on loan for Vitesse Arnheim in the second half of last season. He scored four goals in 14 games.

“It is important for him that he continues to stick with it and gets playing time,” said Frankfurt’s sporting director Timmo Hardung: “We are sure that after his time in Utrecht he will make his way with us in the Bundesliga.”

Aaronson moved from Philadelphia Union to Eintracht for the second half of the 2022/23 season. He made his professional debut in Germany in March 2023 and has so far played 22 competitive matches for Frankfurt in the league, DFB Cup and Conference League.
