Eivissa City Council Increases Funding for Sports Clubs in Heritage Promotion

The mayor of the Iivissa City Council, Rafael Triguero; The Councilor for Sports, Ana Ferrer, and representatives of 20 sports clubs signed the heritage promotion agreements on Wednesday afternoon, at the Sports Board.

This year, all entities have had an increase in the amount and the Department of Sports has allocated 286,350 euros, when in the previous year the total figure was 252,000 euros. Specifically, the clubs that have received aid are the following:

  • Ibiza Badminton Club → 8,784€
  • Badminton Pitiuso → €8,784.00
  • CV Eivissa → €43,590.60
  • Cor Pitius → €20,554.56
  • Club TT Ibiza → €5,599.80
  • Ibiza rugby → 11.067,84 €
  • Sa Real → €16,008.84
  • The Winery → €5,336.28
  • Can Cantó → €11,858.40
  • Gasifred → 36.722,61 €
  • St. Paul → €3,211.65
  • Ibiza Fut. Room → €5,780.97
  • HC Eivissa → €43,689.42
  • Pitiuso Athletics Club → €10,980.00
  • Sincro Ibiza Sports Club → €2,196.00
  • Ibiza Swimming Club → €6,039.00
  • Ibiza Nautical Club → €7,686.00
  • ADDIF → 10.980,00 €
  • Ibiza archery club → €10,980.00
  • Karate-do → 3.500,03 €
  • “Eivissa City Council and the Department of Sports attach great importance to the values ​​that clubs transmit and how they promote heritage through sport. That is why we continue to support sports clubs and this year we have increased the allocation for this type of club by an additional 34,350 euros, reaching 286,350 euros,” said the Councillor for Sports, Ana Ferrer.
