Elderly Residents Participate in Olympic Games at Clermont-Ferrand

Thursday June 6, the Olympic Games officially began in Clermont-Ferrand.

Indeed, the residents of four establishments for the elderly, gathered at the Ehpad des Neuf soleils, completed the pétanque, indoor football, basketball, shuffleboard throwing, frisbee and badminton events.

In teams

The competitors came from Bois Vallon, Anatole-France, and Oradou. The games took place, in teams of six to eight residents, all afternoon.

The event, organized by the four speakers from the Siel Bleu association, of which Jean-Baptiste Landry is the departmental manager, delighted all the participants. Specializing in health prevention in the field of gerontology, Siel bleu offers adapted physical activities in establishments for the elderly.
