The English started the competition with a controlled victory against Serbia (1-0). But they disappointed against Denmark by not doing better than a draw (1-1). The Three Lions can secure top spot in the group if they win against Slovenia or if they draw and the Danes fail to win against the Serbs.
The Slovenes obtained two draws against Denmark (1-1) and Serbia (1-1). They are aiming for an unprecedented qualification for the round of 16, for their first participation in the Euro since 2000 and their elimination in the first round.
