Euro 2024: become a network star, André Schnura makes Germany vibrate with his saxophone

Each of the videos he has posted since the start of Euro 2024 has received thousands of likes and numerous shares. German supporter André Schnura, recognizable thanks to his jersey flocked with the name of former Mannschaft striker Rudi Völler, his sunglasses and especially his black saxophone, galvanizes the crowds in the German streets.

“Samba de Janeiro”, “Freed from Desire”… the musician revisits the greatest hits with his saxophone to excite the German supporters. And much more, thanks to social networks.

“I was fired from the music school where I taught”

A craze that the young man did not expect, who explains on his Instagram account going through a bad patch. “At the beginning of the week, I was fired from the music school where I taught for six years because of new regulations and I was already wondering how to continue,” he wrote, also adding that he knew “that many people are in a worse situation than (his)”.

The musician, who founded his own Stalaxy saxophone brand with his best friend, however, found a way to bounce back in the German streets and wants to “give back”. “We have decided to donate 150 euros to an association for each saxophone sold in our store until the end of the year,” explains André Schnura.

The art of riding on notoriety

The association in question is the Toni Kroos Foundation, named after the 34-year-old German footballer who will retire after the competition. The objective of the foundation is to help seriously ill children and their families, in particular by financing therapies and treatments. “Apart from the objective of making the saxophone cool again, I hope to be able to give back a little love,” adds the business leader and good communicator.

André Schnura offers a promo code “LIEBE” (“Love” in French), with a 100 euro reduction, to new buyers, as well as videos to learn how to play step by step. The notice to amateurs ready to pay between 1679 and 1999 euros for the instrument is launched.

While waiting to learn more about the success of this operation, André Schnura should once again excite the supporters on Sunday evening, for the last day of the group stage. The German team will face Switzerland in a decisive match for first place in Group A.
