A number of national teams are still hunting for the best third place in order to qualify for the round of 16 Euro 2024.
The following is the latest standings for the best third place in Euro 2024 after the final Group B match on Tuesday (25/6) early morning WIB.
Changes occurred in the standings for the best three after last night’s Group B match. Group B held the final match between Albania vs Spain and Croatia vs Italy.
As a result, Spain won 1-0 over Albania at the Merkur Spiel-Arena Stadium while Croatia held off Italy 1-1 at the Red Bull Arena.
These results are enough to make a change in the standings for the best third place. Albania, which previously was in fourth place in the top three standings, has now been evicted by Croatia, which is in fifth place.
Austria still occupies the top three standings with three points and a goal difference of +1.
Slovakia also remains in second place in the top three standings with three points but a goal difference of 0.
Hungary, who won 1-0 over Scotland, is also in the hunt for 16th place via the best third place route.
Another team that still hopes to make it to the knockout rounds of Euro 2024 is the Czech Republic, which occupies sixth place in the standings with one point.
