Euro 2024: how many supporters of the France team are expected in Germany?

The Euro (June 14 – July 14) is approaching for the France team. Didier Deschamps’ men will get to the heart of the matter on Monday, against Austria in Düsseldorf (9 p.m.). Among the 47,000 seats in the Merkur Spiel-Arena, 11,460 will be occupied by French supporters, specifies the FFF.

An attendance from which the Blues will be able to benefit throughout the group phase. During the second match, against the Netherlands in Leipzig, on Friday June 21 (9 p.m.), 11,124 French fans will be in the stands at the Red Bull Arena. A figure almost similar to that of the last match against Poland, on June 25 in Dortmund (6 p.m.), where 11,205 Tricolores will make the trip.

4,000 people expected for public training on Thursday

The fervor around France is also measured in training. 4,000 people are expected this Thursday, during a session open to the public. The FFF specifies that the city and club of Paderborn – where France’s base camp is located – had received more than 100,000 requests. The 4,000 free tickets were allocated in four minutes, adds the Federation. A spectator gauge which exceeds that set by UEFA during training. An exemption was obtained to allow the reception of a large audience.
