Group D standings Euro 2024 experienced changes after bigmatch Netherlands vs France ended in a draw at the Leipzig Stadium, Saturday (22/6) early morning WIB.

The Netherlands vs France match showcased quality duels throughout the match. Both teams are equally creative in attack and solid in defense.

Unfortunately, France, who didn’t play Kylian Mbappe, had difficulty scoring goals. Likewise with the Dutch squad.

A 0-0 draw was a fitting final result for both teams.

The Netherlands managed to shake the French goal through Xavi Simons’ powerful shot but the referee disallowed the goal after reviewing the VAR in the 69th minute.

Denzel Dumfries, who was standing in front of the goalkeeper, was considered offside and prevented Oranje from scoring. The goalless draw lasted until the game was over.

This result did not shake France’s throne at the top of Group D with four points. The Netherlands has the right to occupy second place with the same points but is behind on goal difference.

Austria also still has a chance of qualifying for the last 16 of Euro 2024 after beating Poland 3-1. This positive result put Austria in third place with a collection of three points.

Group D standings

1. France 4
2. Netherlands 4
3. Austria 3
4. Poland 0
